Our mission
Conservation Project Workshop is a non profit that was founded to support habitat, biodiversity and conservation through sustainable land stewardship. Our goal is to enhance and restore habitat vaule to places that that have lost biodiversity due to human impact. We design, build and manage biodiverse landscape ecosystems that provide habitat value while still serving human needs. Our goal is to unlock the full potential of your land through the coexistence of human and ecological function. As a non-profit we are able to offer landscape and habitat enhancement services at the lowest cost.

What we do
Since our founding in 2015, we have worked to support the technical capacity of nonprofit groups, local government agencies, and private landowners to develop and implement environmental restoration and protection projects. A “project workshop” approach to environmental conservation is fundamental to our mission, and it distinguishes our work from that of typical engineering services and consulting companies. We specialize in teaming with landowners and with small organization’s technical staff in a collaborative, open workshop approach to fill in gaps needed to take individual conservation projects from concept to implementation. Throughout this process, we focus on transferring technical skills to help clients develop their own capacity to ensure future sustainability of their project. As a non-profit our goal is to provide conservation and habitat oriented land stewardship services at the lowest possible cost.

Why us?
Conservation Project Workshop is a fully liscenced engineering, design and landscape maintenance contractor in Washington State (lic. no. CONSEPW754P1). In our experience, project sustainability requires scaling a project design and implementation to the realities of our client’s staffing and financial capacity. Our long-term perspective of working in rural areas and with organizations that have limited staff and funding resources has taught us the importance of scaling project designs and land management services to the realities of each client’s capacities. By being able to assist with your habitat restoration process from design to implementation to maintenance we are able to provide a wholistic, all encompasing service. Whether you want to enhance pollinator habitat in your garden or construct a fully compliant mitigation site, Conservation Project Workshop is here to help you make the most of your land.
